Robotics Club

The Hallett Cove Robotics Club has been running for a number of years at the Hallett Cove R-12 School. The Club follows the principles of STEMSEL, Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Social Enterprise Learning.

The main activities of the Club revolve around microprocessors and electronics. At the club meetings, young people learn how to program microprocessors and work with electronics. Members are encouraged to design and build their own projects. Cooperation, collaboration and communication are all incorporated into the sessions.

The Club is open to anyone, not just those attending Hallett Cove School.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own PC laptop to run the programming software. Microprocessors are provided.

Parents are welcome, even encouraged, to attend sessions.

When: Wednesday 5:00pm – 7:00pm (During School Terms)

Where: Room 824, Hallett Cove School (Electronics Lab)

The cost of attending is $20 per session, with no ongoing commitment.
Special Workshops are held occasionally during the School Holidays.
