Hallett Cove School students from Year 5 to 12 have the opportunity to undertake instrumental music lessons with specialist teachers through the Department for Education Instrumental Music Program and private providers.

A range of instruments are offered including;

• • Brass (trumpet, trombone)
  • Woodwind (saxophone, clarinet, flute)
  • Percussion 
  • Bass Guitar
  • Guitar (from Year 7)
  • Keyboard

Instrumental Music students participate in ensemble practice such as the guitar ensemble or band as they prepare for performances throughout the year including assemblies, Music Nights, the Arts Showcase and the Whole School Arts Production.
