CONTENT:
Course content will be a selection of the following:
Art in Context: A picture is worth a thousand words. You will explore artists and their artworks, looking deeply into the ideas within these works and how you can make connections between your ideas and the artworks you make.
Visual Art Process: I wish I could… You will learn how artists plan and design artworks. You will also practice and develop a range of practical skills.
Practical Resolution: I could do that! You will learn how to communicate your artistic intentions in artworks. You will explain on how the display of your artwork enhances its meaning.
ASSESSMENT TYPES
Knowledge and Understanding:
Students show folio evidence of using correct terminology and core concepts /key ideas in the Creative Arts. They experiment with a range of art mediums and styles as they create their own artworks.
Practical Application and Evaluation:
Students work individually and collaboratively to plan and produce artworks with evaluation of themselves and others.
