CONTENT
Course content will be a selection of the following:
Textile Product Creation:
Learn how to design textile products and use specialist equipment to make a range of textile articles using commercial and self-designed patterns.
Fashion Sketching:
Sketch and design solutions to design challenges
Textile construction and use:
Investigate fabric types and their uses
ASSESSMENT TYPES
Materials application and skills tasks:
Students will be assessed on application of key skills and knowledge
Design Folio:
Students will use the design process to develop their ideas, solve problems, manufacture a product and evaluate the
outcome.
